Mission

The Rhode Island Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (RIAAP) is an organization of physicians and health professionals who care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The Chapter supports its members in the effective practice of child health care and strives to promote access to comprehensive, inclusive, and culturally responsive care. The Chapter joins families, educators, community leaders, and many others working to preserve, protect, and promote the health of all children. The Chapter develops and supports state and local policies and programs that promote health equity, address disparities, and contribute to the healthy development of all RI children and adolescents.
